SHIT KILLS YOU EVERYDAY SKYE started as more than a skateboarding brand, but rather something to live by. It was a motto I created when I woke up and realized that I needed to do something with my life and not let fear stand in the way. Essentially, things stand in our way and try to break us every single day, so why not just go for it. From then, I taught myself graphic design, created SKYE into a streetwear clothing brand, and started sewing and screen-printing whatever I could get my hands on. This personal agenda kickstarted my love and passion for graphic design, leading me to go back to school in pursuit of my BFA. Fast forward a couple years later, and my senior year final project had been assigned with much room for creative freedom. I decided to rebrand my first major design project, SKYE, with much more intention and using my newfound knowledge to establish a brand identity and voice. Whether or not I decide to create this into a true company, it will always be an extremely important project in my career.
